Our Management team combine several years of experience gained from key positions in different sectors of the Nigerian oil industry and their experience is dully passed on to the younger workforce. OUR DIRECTORS
Bart Nwibe – Group Managing Director
Bart has held the position of Group Managing Director of SEGOFS ENERGY GROUP since inception. SEGOFS ENERGY GROUP comprises SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES LTD, SESL DRILLING SERVICES LTD and CAD 2 DATA SERVICES LTD. He is responsible for cooperate strategy, business development, planning and implementation, cooperate governance, strategic alliances, brand management and corporate social responsibility of the company. He also directs the overall growth and international expansion of the company.
Prior to this, he was the lead Principal Directional Drilling Consultant to SPDC for SEGOFS LTD where he supervised Shell Directional Drilling Contracts and developed systems and procedures to improve directional drilling performance and cost reduction.
With solid background in the directional drilling business gained from key positions with various oil and gas companies such as WOG ALLIED SERVICES LTD, SPERRY SUN DRILLING SERVICES, BAKER HUGHES INTEQ, SCHLUMBERGER ANADRILL and SCHLUMBERGER (D&M), Barth has over three decades international experience in directional drilling services and consultancy.
He successfully drilled lots of wells for SPDC, TEXACO, NAOC, SNEPCO, CHEVRON, CONSOLIDATED OIL, MOBIL and TOPCON.
Ben-Chika Uzoagu – Executive Director
Ben-Chika is one of the founding Directors of SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES LTD and has held the position of Executive Director since inception. He brings more than three decades of experience in Oil Field Administration to managing and motivating individuals and teams in meeting and exceeding company operational goals.
Prior to joining SEGOFS ENERGY SERVICES, Ben-Chika was an Executive Director at SEGOFS LTD, overseeing all company operations. Before then, he was the Administrative Manager at REMM OIL SERVICES where he was in-charge of Company Administration and the Personnel/Human Resources Manager at HALLIBURTON GEOPHYSICAL SERVICES, overseeing staff employment, finance and general administration.
He was trained as a Seismologist and Data Programming Engineer at GEOSOURCE NIGERIA LTD PETTY-RAY GEOPHYSICAL SERVICES where he later became a Party Manager and then an Asst. Party Chief, overseeing all company operations with the Party Chief.
Ben-Chika earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics/Electronics from the University of Port Harcourt (Nigeria). He also underwent series of intensive training in HSE, Leadership, Quality Improvement and Personnel Management. He is a member, Nigerian Institute of Directors.
